There are seven major energy centres in our body called Chakras. In Sanskrit, the predominant language of Yogic philosophy, the word Chakra means wheel of light. When the chakra wheels are turning in harmony, our energy comes into balance. Well being and health arise naturally when chakra wheels spinning smoothly and in harmony. When out of balance for example, a chakra wheel might be spinning too fast, wherein we take in or leak out too much energy, or they can be spinning too slow, in which energy gets stagnant. Balancing the energy in each of the body’s chakras is very important for health and healing. You see, a Chakra is a wheel, a vortex of energy. Chakras are the bridge between the energy of the ethers, the energetic body, and the physical body, and each chakra corresponds to the parts of the body where they are located. The state of their energy influences the function of the physical organs they are related to. Chakras spin according to the state of our mind, body, heart and spirit, and are influenced by the energy around and within us. When we are out of balance, it is easy to leak energy and feel stuck. As well, when chakras are blocked or clogged, it makes it harder for the light energy to flow through you. Light is energy is what keeps us vibrant. It is a form of fuel. The more light we can bring into our bodies, the greater energy levels we experience. When each chakra is in balance, our body functions in energetic harmony, which creates the conditions in which the body can bring itself back to balance. When we are in an optimal state of harmony, universal energy flows from the ethers into the chakras into the body and we experience the incredible wellness that is the natural result of being in balance. As an energy healer, I balance your chakras with a combination of techniques: Reiki, pendulum, crystals, colours, sound, sacred geometry and aromatherapy.
